Every year festivals come and go but the demand of Diyas and Candles are never diminished. With this thought in mind Team Sundream Group visited Lakshyam’s Vasnat Kunj centre and organised Diya and Candle Making workshop for kids. Kids were taught to make colourful diyas and scented candles. Everyone participated in the workshop with full heart and made the workshop success.
Diwali is known as Festival of Lights but we all make it a Festival of Pollution by burning crackers. Last month Team Sundream Group visited Lakshyam’s Vasant Kunj centre to organise a workshop on “How we can celebrate Cracker-Free Diwali”. Team Sundream explained all the kids about the importance of Diwali and also made them aware of different things they can do to celebrate Diwali and keep environment safe.
Team Sundream Group visited Lakshyam’s Vasant Kunj centre last week and conducted various activities like paper folding - origami, coloring sessions, and wall painting for the children. All these activities helped us in knowing their inner talent and their interest in Art n Craft.
As technology has become an integral part of everyday life, Team Sundream Group took an initiative to provide basic knowledge of computers to Lakshyam Children. They thought children using MS Paint, WordPad, etc. on the computer which will also help in their studies.
Menstruation and Sanitary Pads are no more a 'hush-hush' topic to be brushed aside!! It is a reality and women need not be ashamed of it anymore.
Keeping that in mind, Team Sundream recently visited Lakshyam NGO to distribute Sanitary Napkins among women and young girls. While distributing the napkins they even interacted with the women group and informed them about the importance of its usage and gave tips for day to day hygiene.
Sundream Group as part of their CSR Activity visited Lakshyam’s Vasant Kunj Centre to distribute flavoured milk bottles among little kids. As milk is the most nutritious drink and is very important for kids, our team gifted milk bottles to each and every child present at the centre. It gave us all a sense of relief seeing those kids happy to have milk bottles and drinking the same.
Team Sundream Group spent a wonderful day with our kids at Lakshyam’s Vasant Kunj Centre. They organized art & craft activity at the centre to dig out the inner talent of these children. Children had a great time with the team as they enthusiastically participated in the activity and got delighted when served snacks at the end.
As we all know creativity has been one of the major focuses at Sundream Group, we hosted a workshop on clay modelling for Lakshyam kids at the Vasant Kunj Centre. The fabulous day it was, with kids playing and jumping around with play dough in their hands, making different shapes and models. Check out the glimpse of the day!
Even a small effort can bring a lot of change in the lives of underprivileged children. Sundream Group as part of CSR activity visited Lakshyam’s Vasant Kunj Center to organize a workshop on paper folding – origami. Team Sundream Group developed an amazing bond with the kids by teaching them the art of paper folding and creating beautiful elements out of paper.
Team Sundream Group last weekend visited Lakshyam’s Vasant Kunj Centre to organize a dance workshop. We were all happy to see the enthusiasm and interest in kids for dancing. We thank Lakshyam for inviting us to organize this amazing session.
"Yoga is a transformative force that can provide us with the strength and vision we need for more just societies." On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Sundream Group organised a yoga session at Lakshyam's Vasant Kunj Centre to make children aware of the importance of yoga and meditation and encouraged them to include this into their daily routine for good health.
Sundream Group under its CSR Initiative visited Lakshyam once again to distribute stationary products and colouring books among the not so privileged children. As we all know children are always keen to play with colouring books, colour boxes etc. Sundream Group took this small effort to avail them with stationary items and add colours in their life.
Most underprivileged women in the country have no familiarity about reproductive tract infections caused by unawareness of personal sanitization during menstruation time. In several rural parts, women do not know about the forms and way of using sanitary pads or are incompetent to pay for such stuff due to high price. Sundream Group joined hands with Lakshyam in making an effort to let these women understand the value of personal hygiene by distributing Sanitary Napkins among them at the Vasant Kunj centre and made them aware and know the importance of its usage with a small talk session.
Sundream Group invited Lakshyam children to their office and organised an art and craft workshop for them. Sundream Group has been constantly supporting Lakshyam for child and women welfare. The workshop was organised to encourage kids to learn more about art n craft and think out of the box and create innovative things. In this workshop, they were taught to make keychains out of wool.
Dance and music play major roles in promoting the emotional development and self-confidence in children. Lakshyam kids got an opportunity to learn amazing dance moves from a professional trainer sent by Sundream Group.
It was a moment of joy for children where they enjoyed learning Kathak and other dance forms as Sundream Group had organised a professional dance workshop for Lakshyam kids to bring out their inner dance talent. It was an unforgettable experience for them all and the day spent with a smile and hope to these underprivileged children!
The children of Lakshyam Vasant Kunj Center enjoyed the company of a fantastic group of people from Sundream Group. As part of the CSR activity, few employees of Sundream Group visited Lakshyam School to organize a dance workshop for children. As dance and music play major roles in promoting the emotional development and self-confidence in children Team Sundream Group taught them amazing dance moves on trending songs which brought smiles on their faces and they enjoyed to the fullest.
Young minds of today will be the creators and problem solvers of the future. It is very important to inculcate the spirit of creativity to solve important problems from a very young age. In line with this, Sundream Group as part of their CSR activity organized an art n craft session where kids were taught to create something useful out of waste. Therefore, they all painted waste plastic bottles and made little object holders out of them. Team Sundream also explained about the harmful effect of plastic and even explained them the importance of recycling to save environment.
According to a survey in India almost one sixth of humanity is suffering from hunger and starvation. Sundream Group joined hands with Lakshyam to support initiative Fight Against Hunger by organizing a food distribution drive at the Vasant Kunj centre where food packets were distributed among kids and they enjoyed the same happily with their families.
